One such trail includes Dolphin Cove, where visitors may see nurse sharks, stingrays, barracudas, eels, and even turtles if they’re lucky. These trails are easy enough for beginners but offer more advanced options. Snorkelers should note that there are times when the currents at Great Lameshur Bay may be strong, so it’s best to check before you go out.

Honeymoon Beach – St. John

Haulover North – St. John | Top 10 USVI Snorkeling Spots

Entry is the most accessible right at the end of the beach,h where no waves or seaweed are blocking you from seeing what lies below. Waves change how easy this area is to get into depending on conditions outside,e but if you’re willing to put in a little extra effort, you’ll be amazed by what awaits below!

Lameshur Beach – St. John

There are two different Lameshur Bays; Little Lameshur and Great Lameshur. One is a sheltered bay made of mostly sand and rocks, separate from Great Lameshur by Yawzi Point. The beaches offer great views but little space to roam or sunbathe because it’s so shallow. Henley Cay – St. John
