Sailing Yacht Pacific Wave and the BVI Rotary Club fundraiser is a great example of one of the crewed yachts based in the BVI helping the British Virgin Islands. Captian Lunn and Chef Mark raised $1350.00 at a Rotary dinner attended by the Premier and the Governor of the British Virgin Islands at Scrub Island, at an auction for a half-day BVI charter on Pacific Wave. Proceeds will go to local charities. Including help for persons with special needs and Autism, as well as projects for Youth Development.
The event is the Rotary Club of Tortola’s signature annual fundraiser. Lynn and Mark said, “we’re delighted to be able to give something back to the people of the BVI as a thank you for letting us live and work in their beautiful islands”.
