St. Vincent’s New Airport is Progressing
The new airport in St. Vincent & The Grenadines continues to progress with a projected opening by the end of 2014. The Carib Journal reports that construction of the Terminal building is now complete. Outfitting will soon start and occur over the next six months. Read more about this by clicking the link.
This bodes well for St. Vincent and The Grenadines as the new airport would be able to accommodate large jets providing more lift to the country with easier connections to its islands of Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Union Island, Palm Island, Mayreau, Young Island and Petit St. Vincent. These islands are very desire for guests who vacation at the villas, resorts and on yachts sailing the Grenadines.
We are looking forward to having air service from the United States to St. Vincent which hopefully would be at attractive fares encouraging more yacht charters in the region.
