Moon Shadow and her great team

My wife and I spent a week on the Moon Shadow for our 25th anniversary, hopping across the BVIs. It was a magical experience. The boat was luxurious and quiet. Captain Grant took us to amazing locations we hadn’t seen even though we have been to the islands so many times. First mate Juan took care of our every need and Chef Ashleigh fixed delicious meals with such a personalized touch. A memorable week!

Moon Shadow

If you are looking for a vacation that perfectly balances adventure with absolute relaxation, a sailing trip on Moon Shadow is the gold standard. We recently returned from a family trip, and it was, quite simply, the best vacation we’ve ever had. Thank you Grant, Juan and Ash!

Moon Shadow

Our family sailing trip with Grant, Juan, and Ash was truly one of the most memorable vacations we’ve ever taken. From the moment we stepped on board, we felt welcomed and completely at ease thanks to the professionalism and warmth of the crew.
Traveling with kids can sometimes be challenging, but the crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone, from the youngest to the adults, had an amazing experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating what we might need before we even asked. Whether it was adjusting the itinerary based on our preferences, or preparing meals that suited everyone’s tastes, their service was exceptional. The sailing itself was smooth and relaxing, with breathtaking views throughout the trip. Meals on board were another highlight. Ash is a very talented Chef. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. What made this trip truly special was how effortless everything felt. We were able to fully relax and spend quality time together as a family while the crew handled all the details. If you’re considering a family sailing trip, we can’t recommend it enough, especially with a crew like this. It’s was perfect!

Moon Shadow

We had an absolutely unforgettable sailing trip! Traveling with kids can sometimes be a challenge, but Grant, Juan and Ash made everything feel effortless from start to finish.
From the moment we stepped on board, the crew was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. They struck the perfect balance between being professional and making us feel like part of the family. Our kids immediately felt comfortable, which made a huge difference. The crew went out of their way to keep them engaged, letting them help steer the boat, teaching them a bit about sailing, and pointing out marine life along the way. If you’re considering a sailing excursion with your family, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and quality family time. We’re already talking about doing it again!

Moonshadow

We had the most amazing family trip on Moon shadow with Grant, Juan and Ash. Everything was perfect and we could not have wished for more. We had 4 small children on the boat and Grant, Juan and Ash were patient, kind and engaging. We will remember this trip and the crew for a lifetime!

The Most Unforgettable Week in the BVIs

Our 7-day New Year’s Eve catamaran trip through the British Virgin Islands was truly the best vacation we have ever experienced, and that is entirely thanks to our incredible crew: Captain Grant, Juan, and Chef Joelle.

From the moment we stepped on board, they went above and beyond to make every aspect of our trip unforgettable. Captain Grant and Juan made each day seamless and fun, setting up water toys for us daily and ensuring we got the most out of every beautiful location. They did more than guide the trip, they genuinely connected with us, taking time to sit, talk, and make us feel completely at home. One of our favorite memories was when Juan dressed up as a pirate for dinner one night. It perfectly captured how fun, thoughtful, and personalized the entire experience was.

Joelle’s cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, rivaling some of the best restaurants. We looked forward to every single dish she created.

The level of care and attention to detail from all three of them was unmatched. Our rooms were made up each morning, every need was anticipated, and the entire experience felt both luxurious and personal.

We could not have asked for a better way to ring in the New Year. This trip was unforgettable, and it is all because of Grant, Juan, and Joelle. We would do it again in a heartbeat.
