We were a large family group ranging in age from 10 to 80, and every single one of us was absolutely blown away by how incredible the food was. Everything we tried was a taste sensation, and it was almost impossible to choose a favorite. The cucumber salad was outstanding, and the panna cotta was honestly the most delicate and delicious I have ever tasted — it simply melted in your mouth. We will definitely be back

We had such a lovely dinner. The steak was genuinely one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the pizza was equally impressive. Everything we ordered was top-notch - beautifully fresh ingredients, wonderful flavors and picture-perfect presentation.The head chef, Harley, was incredibly welcoming, and you can immediately tell how much pride he takes in the food he serves.  You can come for a five-star meal or simply stop in for a casual drink and feel equally at home. Having eaten at some of the top restaurants in Ballito, South Africa, I can confidently say that this meal was right up there with the best of them. We’ll definitely be back.

We are a family of four that includes two mid twenties daughters and each said it was the best vacation ever.
We had  the perfect vessel as each daughter had their own berth and we had a rock star crew with Capt Murray. Somehow they seamlessly blended in with our family while serving our every need.

Capt Murray had things under control the entire trip. The boat was great, but the crew was the straw that stirred the drink.

Now, what an amazing week that you created for our family! From snorkeling everyday to the Baths, the beaches and wakeboarding, it was fun for everyone.

Nothing short of AMAZING!!! Lu & Capt Kyle were incredibly detail oriented in everything they did. From the most beautiful, picture perfect meals to the adventures on island….everything was perfect! It was our first sailing experience & the bar is set high for our next trip!!! We will definitely be back & hopefully with Lu & Kyle again. So grateful to be able to experience such a unique vacation!

These two folks made our time aboard Halcyon and unforgettable experience. 
Lu and Sam are super kind, approachable, passionate about their roles and customer relationships. We left our sail feeling as if we had new friends versus just “hosts”. Highly recommend booking this trip and if you’re lucky enough to book with Sam and Lu you can pretty much expect a superb holiday. 

Sam knows the water, made decisions based on weather and our desires (pretty active with snorkeling every day, time on the beach, excursions on Anegada and a very special visit to The Baths on Virgin Gorda). 

Lu did a special cookie cake from scratch to help celebrate a 16th birthday- AND the crew managed to run an egg hunt to celebrate Easter. These two folks are wonderful humans. Oh, Lu’s meatball pitas? Awesome!

We just completed our 8th charter in The BVIs on the Halcyon Catamaran —and hands down, this was the best crew we’ve ever had! We were celebrating a 60th birthday with a group of 7 women, and every single moment felt magical. The boat is very spacious with lots of areas to relax. You have just about every water toy you could imagine!!

Captain Sam was exceptional—organized, attentive, and truly on point with every detail. Chef Lu delivered outstanding gourmet meals for every single meal—absolutely incredible.

Beyond their professionalism, they were simply wonderful people who made the experience even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew on Halcyon!

We had the pleasure or chartering Halcyon for a 5 night trip in the BVIs March 2026. 
The MOST AMAZING crew, Captain Sam and Chef Lu, who tended to our every desire and kept us safe! 

The itinerary planned by Sam was perfection based on winds and weather - he maximized all the fun along with R&R. Every meal and Snack were perfection, fresh, delicious and timed just right. Every table scape was different and beautiful. 
We had the BEST time and hope we can do it again soon with this perfect crew!

BVI girls trip couldn’t have been better. The Halcyon was comfortable and had everything we needed for a 5 day trip. 
The best part was Sam and Lu. 
Lu is an amazing chef and took care of us from the minute we got onboard. 
Sam is a great captain and made sure we did everything we wanted to do in the best spots. Snorkeling, relaxing, beaches, shopping all in perfect proportions.

The last 10 days have been perfection in every way. I could go on and on about the magnificence of the waters, the fish, the horizon, the sunrises & sunsets, the coral, the baths, the caves, the vistas, the hikes, the boat itself… but at the end of the day (and the start of the day) what we will remember & take with us is the feeling of calm, peace, tranquility, relaxation you enabled us to experience for 10 days.

Because of your hard work, your dedication to our happiness & experience, your attention to detail, your care, your initiation & anticipation of our needs… all these which I know some people just expect — we appreciate & noticed & saw in everything you did.

We saw it & felt it from both of you from the moment you woke up til the moment we all went to bed and throughout the night! We felt taken care of, WELL FED, safe, inspired & enlightened by what we learned & saw & ate!

To experience the BVI for the first time in this way has been so amazing. The islands themselves are the most beautiful sights I've seen to date. Sam and Lu have made the trip all the better. Sam never failed to bring us to the most amazing places at the best times to see them. 
Lu is phenomenal in the kitchen and kept our group full not only on food but laughs and smiles. We had beautiful weather as well, which made the trip so special. Between the crystal clear water, fantastic meals, breathtaking sights, painkillers and this amazing crew - my trip to the BVI has been my favorite so far. I will definitely be back.

Being my third time chartering a cat through the BVI, AJ made this trip a truly unforgettable experience. Their unwavering commitment to make sure my entire party was comfortable, entertained, safe, and happy the entire trip was truly notable. The cabins were comfortable and the air conditioning was a great touch in the evenings! 
AJ was incredibly patient and friendly with the entire family, showed us all of the best snorkel spots, had great restaurant suggestions, and was always excited to bring out the water toys for us. 
Chartering a boat through the BVI with this operation is a great vacation. 

With that said, AJ made it the trip of a lifetime!! Would highly recommend it to all!!!

BIG THANKS to Capt. AJ Stephens. Our family had such an incredible and memorable time. AJ made the trip easy, relaxing, exciting, interesting, filling, fun and so much more. It all began before even arriving in the USVIs via a WhatsApp video call, talk through preferences and nail down logistics. My wife and I traveled with our 6 kids (all in their 20s), and the entire week was perfect. AJ wanted everything to be perfect and kept asking how to improve things but I had nothing to say: it was already perfect. AJ was an amazing captain, with smooth sailing in windy weather but also became a great friend, joining us in activities and taking us to great snorkeling spots. Not to mention, AJ’s daily afternoon cocktails. 😊

This trip was incredibly memorable thanks to AJ. We were in expert hands as AJ guided us thru the BVI’s and made sure we experienced an amazing itinerary custom planned based on our preferences. Everything from the actual time underway, whether sailing or motor, and then activities at each destination, was perfect and well executed. We were a group of 8, including 6 young adults, so there were all different wants and needs and AJ made sure everyone was happy. Truly, a wonderful experience. The yacht was well appointed and accommodated our large crew. It was super clean, the showers were great and we all slept comfortably in cozy beds with AC. There were tons of water toys including rafts, paddle boards, wake boards and of course, snorkel equipment. I’m sure I’m forgetting something but there was so much we did in just 7 days. Best of all, AJ helped us create everlasting extraordinary memories for our family

Wonderful experience! AJ was brilliant in his captaining, planning, and guidance throughout our time. We saw so many incredible nooks and crannies of the islands we would never have otherwise, and he recommended some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever seen. Loved his evening cocktails as well!

AJ is a wonderful person, wouldn’t have wanted to spend our time with anyone else.

Just returned from the BVI. We were on board with Capt. AJ. The boat had everything we needed and more. AJ took us to the most beautiful places on earth. Incredible snorkeling and views. Everything was planed and we did not have to think of anything that he had already not thought of. He prepared a signature cocktail every night at 5:00. They were truly better than any of the drinks at the local bars. We even got to name one of his drinks! He can tell you that story🤪.

AJ kept us safe and was always making sure we were getting the most out of our trip. We all had a lot of laughs and had the most relaxing trip of our lives. I would definitely do it again.

We just returned from an amazing trip in the BVI. I have done this trip before, so I thought I knew what to expect. But Captain AJ far exceeded our expectations, and my previous experience.

AJ was very accommodating, no matter how many times we changed our minds about what we wanted to do for the day. He found us amazing snorkeling and dive sites, restaurants and bars, and his quick wit and sense of humor kept us entertained.

AJ set the bar high, and I hope we can find him again to share our next sailing adventure.
