Before becoming a local to the Virgin Islands, Roy owned and operated several businesses, including a marine adventure camp, a small hotel, and a whale-watching charter boat, all in the San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest. Roy holds his U.S. Coast Guard 200-ton captain’s license. He is pleased to take you safely yachting through the 50+ Virgin Islands, where he has entertained guests on the water for 15 years. Michael was born in Staten Island, NY, and has worked on yachts in the Caribbean for over 10 years. He’s done it all—deckhand, engineer, and chef—but cooking is his passion. Michael specializes in Carib‑Americana cuisine, inspired by his grandma and uncle. Before yachting, he ran restaurants and worked as a private villa chef. He enjoys surfing, golfing, and backpacking adventures, especially through Central America. Guests love how he tailors meals to their tastes and shares stories about food, culture, and island life.
