The yachts take the opportunity to have their annual maintenance, rest and relaxation combined with a few charters. Grenada is just outside the hurricane belt which allows some yachts to meet their insurance requirements being in Grenada during the historically active months of the hurricane season.
Dockage is reasonable during the summer at this modern facility. Access to locally grown fruits and vegetables, beautiful scenery and shore side activities makes it appealing for crews.
