Attention Grabbing Designs onboard the Moorings 5800 Charter Yacht
One of the most famous builders of luxury catamarans, Robertson & Caine LTD, has been drawing the attention of the racing and yachting industries since its start in 1991. Based in South Africa, they now produce sailing and power catamarans for private and charter yachting at a rate of approximately three boats per week, with over 1000 currently sailing worldwide.
Their designs are popular among charterers and private owners, and the industry has consistently recognized them. In addition, the Boat of the Year was awarded to many models.
The Moorings offers the latest in Robertson & Caine catamarans available for charter. Robertson & Caine has maintained a relationship with the Moorings since 2003, custom building luxury catamaran charters for their fleet. While private buyers can buy a Robertson & Caine catamaran, those made for the Moorings are designed explicitly with chartering. They have been in the luxury yacht charter industry since 1969.
The Moorings demand their vessels include intuitive features that only experience can define, such as extra storage for luggage. As well as well-placed coolers, cup holders, and multiple device outlets, to name just a few. These luxury catamarans are custom-built for vacationing!
Among some of Robertson & Caine’s noteworthy design features is the addition of the forward cockpit. Of which is available aboard the Moorings 4400, Moorings 4800, and Moorings 5800 catamaran. The forward cockpit gives you additional access to the forward deck.
Designed with convenience and comfort, the forward cockpit also has a molded stairwell and sliding hatch. You and you would not have to duck entering and exiting the area.
Aboard the Moorings crewed 5800 sail catamaran, you’ll find a flybridge with stylish lounge seating, ample seating, and a wet bar ready for your cocktail indulgence. All cabins have an en-suite bath and air-conditioning.
The forward cockpit isn’t just about function, though. It provides a beautiful area to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, a quiet evening cocktail, or a relaxing place to sit in the shade while taking in your stunning view at sea. It also gives you additional private space, as it is accessed through one of two main deck-level queen suites.
This split-level design is another unique feature as it provides multiple ways to arrange up to 10 guests in its five suites, all with private ensuites.
You and your guests will have plenty of room to gather together on the enormous flybridge, which has ample room for up to 12 people and offers an outstanding 360-degree view of the surrounding blue waters. The Moorings 5800 flybridge is spacious and offers both a shaded and open area so you can decide when to bask in the island sun. Or take a fantastic break in the shade or discover your new snorkeling spot.
The Moorings offers a crewed charter option if you’re looking for a more catered vacation or a bareboat charter option if you’d like to put your sailing skills to work on your summer vacation.
Also offered are the similar, smaller moorings 4200 series charter yachts. Contact us for more info on these skippered British Virgin Islands and Caribbean vacations.
