Classic Caribbean yacht charter Eros was recently restored and is now available for charter in Panama.
Classic Caribbean Yacht Charter Eros is a featured yacht at this year’s Antigua Charter Yacht Show. This annual event showcases the finest yachts in the world. It ran from December 4-10, 2016, at Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour. Out yacht charter broker Chris Patrick attended this year’s show and got a good look at EROS.
Schooner EROS is a classic beauty built in England in 1939 for the daughter and son-in-law of a British Lord. The Royal Navy commandeered her to participate in the famous evacuation at Dunkirk. After the war, she became the private yacht of the first man internationally known as a billionaire, Stavros Niarchos, and she became well-known in the Mediterranean yachting community. In fact, her present owners acquired her in 1992 and have just completed a museum-quality restoration, no expenses spared!
Furthermore, Yacht Charter EROS can sleep up to 8 guests in four double cabins, with a relaxing Jacuzzi in the Master Cabin. So, children and adults alike have a whale of a good time playing on her 2-person kayak, Optimist sailing boat, and towing tube, pulled by a Novurania tender and 50 hp outboard.
Captain Alastair Doyne-Ditmas hails from the United Kingdom, where he was educated at Nautical College and served in the Royal Navy Reserve. Moreover, his first service employment was as an assistant boatman to Cliveden, Lord Astor’s stately home. In addition, he is a professional boater who specializes in wooden yacht construction and design for twenty-nine years, he brings a clear and informative presentation to the vessel he commands.
In addition, all guests, especially families, and children are welcomed with open arms, knowing their safety and comfort are the highest priority. So, his experience and knowledge of Eros’ sailing grounds promise a spirit of adventure, fun, and security.
We’d love for you to experience Classic Caribbean Yacht Charter Eros.
