BVI Crewed Catamaran Tranquility offers Luxury Sailing for up to 12 guests in six ensuite cabins.
Guests love the crew and the 76ft Matrix Catamaran TRANQUILITY. Offering the only 12-guests sailing experience in the BVI, St. Martin, and the Grenadines. She is one of the most spacious luxury catamarans sailing the Caribbean, assuring exquisite style and comfort while cruising on Catamaran Tranquility.
Tranquility will sail in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) from late October through early July, in addition to other areas in the Caribbean on a request basis and based on availability. From early July through August, Tranquility relocates to the southern Caribbean of Grenada, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines.
This BVI Catamaran charter with crew usually has limited availability since it is one of the few 12-guest crewed charter catamarans in the British Virgin Islands and Caribbean.
Catamaran Tranquility has two crews that rotate every four months. Both couples have an incredible amount of experience in the yacht charter industry and an equal amount of knowledge of the Caribbean.
Captain Patric Guyaz, an RYA Yacht-Master, has sailed throughout the world. In fact, from Europe to the Caribbean and Australia. Patric is also an accomplished dive instructor. Before being a Tranquility captain, he taught youngsters to sail and dive for several years in the BVI. Further, diving in the Maldives, the Great Barrier Reef, and South Africa have been excellent learning grounds for him.
Mary Haddow, chef and hostess from the UK, met Patric in South Africa. They have been the perfect team ever since. Her travel experience has spanned almost every continent of the world. And with it, she brings all the culinary delights from so many countries to Catamaran Tranquility’s table. Besides being an accomplished chef, Mary is a qualified Dive Master as well.
With “Team Patric and Mary” and their great sense of humor, coupled with so much experience, you will immediately feel relaxed, safe, and secure onboard Tranquility.
Captain Anthony Trappe took up sailing as a youngster in England and has been a captain since age 16. While pursuing his Masters’s Degree in Primary Education in London and working as an advisory teacher, he lived on a yacht he purchased in Spain. Now Tony is an RYA Ocean Master with over 40 000 sea miles of experience.
Kate Purdy, born in Malta, spent her early years in Northern Ireland, the UK, and Hongkong. After she learned how to sail, she realized that living on a boat was much more adventurous than living in a house. While living in London, she bought a Dutch barge and docked it in a London marina. Kate met Tony while being paired in a dinghy race. She is a highly qualified and seasoned chef. After managing a small food retail chain in London, Kate attended a culinary course in France. She has provided chef services to distinguished establishments and the Governor of the BVI. Of course, Tranquility guests are rewarded with their accomplished skills.
Team Tony and Kate are ideally suited as well as highly experienced. Whenever possible, they love to show the guests of Tranquility their favorite places and secret hideaways in the British Virgin Islands. During the charter, they will be delighted to share their knowledge of the sea and the islands.
Read what some of Tranquility’s most recent guests have to say!
“Can’t thank you all enough! The food, the dives, the wake-boarding, Painkillers, Captain’s mystery cocktails, the “shames”, the 6:30 wake up crew talks, were all more than incredible! Thanks for providing such an amazing experience aboard TQ.”
– Much love Meg. Luke and Mel
Tranquility’s home base is the British Virgin Islands from October to early July. However, they will relocate to the Leeward Islands of Antigua and St. Martin if their schedule allows it. There could be delivery and redelivery fees for doing so.
The yacht leaves the BVI for the southern Caribbean in July, returning in late October. During these months, they can be available for charters in Grenada, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines.
Grenada offers hikes, river rafting, Cocoa Plantation visits, waterfalls, and more. Bequia has a historic Whaling museum and turtle sanctuary. St. Lucia and St. Vincent offer hot springs from their volcanoes. Most of the islands have lush vegetation and produce fruits and vegetables. Local farmers sell their produce at the markets, which are fun to visit. So if you haven’t sailed the southern Caribbean. Now is the time to do so on BVI Crewed Catamaran Charter TRANQUILITY.
